As a bonafide local real estate agent I grew up in Seattle. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business and Accounting, and I love Seattle.  So much so, I wouldn’t mind staying here my whole life (Narrow-minded? Yeah, I know).

By trade my background is in finance and accounting.  I have extensive experience working with investment funds, lenders, developers and builders.  I’ve helped broker over 80 real estate transactions for individual clients and Liberty Capital.  I helped manage over $25 million in assets which were direct or indirect real estate investments.

I have a deep passion for real estate.  And I believe in real estate being done right.  Every home purchase – or sale – is a huge decision that deserves thorough investigation and due diligence which is why I started this real estate blog.  As a realtor, I have fiduciary responsibility to look out for my client’s best interest and to know what I’m doing.  I take this very seriously.

I love analyzing contracts and negotiating the best position for my clients.  Since I’m a former accountant, I love to study not only the attributes of the property, but I enjoy valuing of the property.  The only way to determine value is to understand property valuation methods and apply them accordingly to the situation.

This blog gives back to the community whether or not people use me for their real estate needs.  I believe the best way to learn is by teaching.  As much as this blog educates its readers, it educates me.
